SEASONAL LOOK-WINTER
Brrrr. Winter is here! Time to ditch the summer look! Here are some cute, fun, knock-out looks for the winter months!
CAUTION: May cause you to be the prettiest girl in the room!
GET THE SNOWBUNNY LOOK:
Start this look off by applying a semi-matte foundation. Next Dab on a white frosty colored pencil (TRY: BENEFIT Mr. Frosty Pencil $18. Get It At: benefitcosmetics.com).
Now swipe a light pink eyeshadow over your lids up to the crease. From the crease up, apply a SUBTLE white shadow.
To finish, you’ll dust on a pale pink blush (TRY: L’oreal True Match In Baby Blossom). And last, you’ll need lots of brown mascara and a gentle coating of a nude/pink lip gloss. GET THE GOLDEN STAR LOOK:
Apply a shimmery foundation in your most flattering shade. Mix with liquid bronzer to add a little more of a sparkle if you’d like. A good foundation: NYX Liquid Makeup. Now apply a sheer golden blush. Don’t go overboard here. A Good One To Try: NARS Blush In Luster. Now, swipe some shimmery peach eyeshadow across your lids (making it lighter as you make your way up to the brow bone). Line lids with a dark brown pencil (upper and lower lids, avoiding the inner rim of the lower lid). Add lots of dark brown mascara and a frosty medium pink lip gloss to really make the look pop. It’s Your Time To Shine!
GET THE SWEET LIKE CANDY LOOK:
This look is more on the BOLD side. Follow the instructions carefully or you could end up looking like a pack of jolly ranchers.
Apply a matte or semi-matte foundation. Nothing dewy or sparkly (it will look WAY over done). A Good Foundation: RIMMEL STAY MATTE FOUNDATION.
Next you’ll drench your lids (up to the crease) with a bright purple eye shadow. TRY: Urban Decay eyeshadow in FLASH. (purchase at sephora.com). From the crease to the brow bone, dust on a gentle shade of purple. Such As: Stila eyeshadow in KEY/$16. You’ll also add the lighter shade to the INNER corners of your eyes.
Line upper and lower lids with a plum eyeliner. TRY: Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in 1999.
Now you’ll add lots of dark brown mascara and a BABY PINK blush.
Lastly, you’ll need to glide a sparkly pink lip gloss over your lips.

GET THE DARING CANDY CANE LOOK:
This one is fun. Using a sponge, apply a matte foundation. Top with a bit of translucent powder to keep it nice and matte. Brush on a white shimmery eyeshadow all the way up to your brow bone. A Good One: Toofaced Eyeshadow in Pearl Necklace/$16 at toofaced.com.
Add lots of plumping black mascara to upper and lower lashes to brighten up your eyes.
Now, line upper and lower lids with a reddish colored eyeshadow using a Q-Tip. A Good Color For This: Too Faced eyeshadow in Temper Temper.
Swipe on a cinnamon colored blush to the apples of your cheeks (smile for precise application). A MUST Try: DiorBlush in Sunkissed Cinnamon.
Now the fun part. Dab on a flattering red lipstick or gloss. TRY: Mac Tinted Lip Glass in Russian Red.

Also, if you ever want to spice any of these looks up try adding false lashes or lash gems to the outer lashes. Body shimmer added to the shoulders always adds a little pop to any look as well.
