FAQ

We’re still a new website, but we’ve already gotten a few questions thrown our way. So, I thought why not write up a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page for you to refer to. I WILL be updating this page, so come back!

Q: Are all your layouts free?
A: You BET THEY ARE! Free is good. Just keep the darn credit link on them.

Q: Can you make me a personalized layout?
A: At this time I do NOT make personalized layouts... or personalized anything. I am however considering a personalized layout service for the future. Please send in your feedback on this (if you think it’s a good idea or not). See CONTACT page.

Q: Do you ever hire readers to do editorial or design work?
A: When & if a job becomes available, we will post it on the site on the front page blog. Also called "NEWS BLAB". We love all our readers and would definitely come to you first if we needed to hire someone.

Q: How do you make your Layouts?
A: I make the layouts in a program called “photoshop”. It’s a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. I will find a link to a GOOD easy to read tutorial for you... check back!

Q: Can I use/upload your layouts on a myspace layout sharing site?
A: Sorry, but no. You can always contact me if you want to borrow a layout for a report or story in which I would get credit and a link back. I always check emails, so I encourage you to contact me if you own another site and you want to use something of mine.

Q: Do you make everything found on your site?
A: Well, I am for sure not super woman... although that would be cool. To be honest, I actually started the site out thinking I would design EVERYTHING, but later found this to be nearly impossible. I want my site to have a lot of high quality content to offer, but if I spend hours a day designing everything myself with no help... well, that just wont happen. I would say that about 90% of everything on the site was designed by me, however I get a lot of glitters and some other designs found on my site from wonderful, talented designers generous enough to share some of their designs.

Q: Do you have your own myspace page where we can add you?

Q: How often do you update the site?
A: I don't have a set amount of days in which the site gets updated. However, we do update QUITE frequently. I would say on average 3 or 4 times a week. Whether it’s new default layouts, skinny layouts, div layouts, myspace music player skins, comment boxes, picture captions, contact tables, about me banners etc... there will always be new stuff!

Q: Where do you get the questionnaires from?
A: I WRITE them myself! I love adding them to my facebook NOTES section, and one day I couldn’t find any good new ones so I decided to write a bunch of my own. A LOT work later, I had enough to offer them to you. So grab some to add to your pro! I'm also ading new ones all the time, so keep coming back to see if there's something new for you.

Q: How did you come up with the robot idea?
A: We get asked this a lot. Basically, we wanted something that we could change from page to page as the theme of the page changed. We didn’t want a person (So boring)... but we wanted it to still look cute. AND, since we’re called plush POUT, we wanted to add lips to the face for the POUT. Also, the robot is symbolic of the website being based around things for your computer/profile (technology related).
